We look forward to two great games of FIDA Football.
Sport & Spark Round is a partnership between Williamstown Seagulls FIDA FC and Yarra Energy Foundation (YEF), an independent not-for-profit organisation helping households switch to cheaper, cleaner energy.
Together, we’re launching Sport & Spark – a new initiative using the power of local sports to help families learn how getting off gas and going electric at home can lower energy bills, improve home comfort, and reduce emissions.
This initiative is supported by the Victorian Government through the Cheaper Home Electric Energy Program (CHEEP).
At the end of each game, we will be presenting the Sport & Spark Medal to the “Most Electrifying” player from each team. We are delighted to have Gab Pound, Carlton AFLW player, disability support worker, and Footy for Climate ambassador, as our guest presenter.
There will also be information stands and displays from YEF and some of our Club 500 sponsors, and a demonstration of the new legal Pasio e-bike.
With a few showers forecast, and The Fearon’s reputation for being a bit chilly, we will be providing FREE cups of delicious, nutritious, home-made soup to warm up all the players after their games.
We will be videoing both games and presentations. Don’t forget to catch up on the replays of our Pride Round games against Lower Plenty in Round 1, and our Beyond Blue games against Ballarat. All matches are available now on our YouTube Channel.
